What does it mean … “to become enlightened”?

Make no mistake about it – enlightenment is a destructive process. It has nothing to do with becoming better or being happier. Enlightenment is the crumbling away of untruth. It is seeing through the facade of pretence. It’s the complete eradication of everything we imagined to be true.

    As they say Bonnie, perception is 9-tenths reality. You’ve made an excellent observation, especially … “takes the focus off of those who propagated the deceit”. I agree wholeheartedly with you on this. We must ensure that those who set out to profit from deceit propagation (on a mass scale) end up paying a high price. By what mechanism I cannot yet say. But ‘they’ must first be identified, and then made to pay or suffer a substantial cost. I believe such sanctions were routinely enforced in our culture before we were ‘taken over’ by the banker-globalist class. Thank you for commenting. Loquendo.

    A definition of pretense is: a false appearance or action intended to deceive; the quality of being produced by people and not occurring naturally, which would not bring anyone happiness or better the lives of those who have been infected/affected by such behavior. Yet, Adyashanti saying that it is the eradication of everything the deceived imagined to be true? takes the focus off of those who propagated the deceit. Let’s get that straight.
